The concept is simple: replace the rigid link connecting your sway bar end to your suspension with these small links, each containing an air spring. The pressure inside the spring dictates the behavior of the sway bar, softening the initial rate on turning or impacts felt only by 1 corner at a time, like a pothole or diagonal driveway entry.

This softening of the rate takes out a lot of the initial head toss, without completely eliminating the benefits of a sway bar. Think of it like a 'progressive' sway bar.
