The Industrial Injection Stage 2 Ported and Polished Cylinder Head is designed for 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins Common Rail engines requiring maximum airflow, improved durability, and superior head gasket sealing. Fully CNC ported and hand-finished, this high-performance cylinder head is built for street performance, and competition applications where airflow and reliability are critical.
Featuring an intake shelf machined off to accept a performance intake runner, this Stage 2 cylinder head is optimized for increased airflow at the highest performance level. Advanced 5-axis CNC porting technology ensures every intake and exhaust port flows consistently, while hand blending provides a smooth, high-quality finish for maximum performance.
Each cylinder head is assembled with stainless steel nitride-coated valves, premium high-temperature valve seats, hardened alloy valve guides, and USA-made 120lb performance valve springs. Radius-cut fire ring grooves are machined into the head to provide enhanced combustion sealing when used with a compatible fire ring head gasket, helping reduce the risk of head gasket failure in high-boost applications.
To further improve reliability, drilled and tapped steel coolant freeze plugs replace the factory press-in plugs, eliminating a common failure point found in OEM cylinder heads.
